I moved to Canada from Croatia when I was eight. I know what it feels like to leave everything familiar behind — and build something new on the other side. I watched my mom navigate that same kind of transition alone, without the right support, when we all grew up and left our family home. That stayed with me. Years later, I left a twenty-year career, went back to real estate school, and built a practice specifically for people like her.

I'm Irena Tunjic, a REALTOR® with Real Broker Ontario Ltd., serving Ancaster, Hamilton, Burlington, and the surrounding area. I specialize in helping empty nesters downsize with confidence — and I created The Smart Downsize Method, a five-phase process designed for people who are ready to move but don't know where to start.
